A Glimpse Into My World

I write to understand myself.
Sometimes it’s a blog post, sometimes a poem, sometimes just a quiet line in my notes app that no one will ever see. But writing—like traveling, like moving my body—keeps me grounded.

Right now, I’m learning how to live slower.
I work full-time as an Executive Assistant in a fast-paced corporate world, managing chaos with calendars and calm. But beyond the job, I’m figuring out who I am when the noise dies down.

Emotionally? Healing.
Physically? Listening to my body more.
Mindfully? Practicing presence, even when it’s uncomfortable.

I’ve been diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder—and I’ve decided not to run from it anymore. Instead, I’m choosing softness. Yoga has become my anchor. It’s not about flexibility or aesthetics, but breath, presence, and honesty. I show up on the mat the way I show up in life: imperfect, but trying.

I travel not to escape, but to connect.
To stories, to cities, to strangers, and to myself. I go slow. I observe. I document what words sometimes can’t. I’ve even started vlogging—a new way of telling my stories.

You’ll find different parts of me across these spaces:

This blog is a mix of everything I love, everything I’ve learned, and everything I’m still figuring out—poems I wrote in the dark, reflections from solo trips, and quiet thoughts I didn’t know needed a voice.

If you ever feel like reaching out, whether with stories of your own or simply to say hi, you can write to me at teha@bungaembun.com.

Thanks for being here. I’m glad you found your way to this corner of mine.
